Privacy principles

Your health is personal.
We build like it.

These are the product principles behind BestBody. A complete UK privacy notice, including the data controller’s identity and contact details, will be published before public launch.

Launch-interest registrations

When you use the launch notification form, BestBody stores your name, email address and your explicit choice to be notified when the product launches. We use those details only to manage your registration and send the launch notification. A form-delivery provider also processes the submission so the BestBody team receives an email notification.

Early access requests

Before accounts open, BestBody stores the name, email address, mobile number, account type, UK nation and postcode supplied on the early access form. We use these details to prepare and contact you about an account invitation. Optional product news by email is kept as a separate, unticked choice. We do not collect passwords, dates of birth, measurements or health information through the public website.

Consent before convenience

Connected health data should be used only with explicit, understandable permission. People must be able to see and change what they share.

Minimum necessary access

Coaches see information a client has agreed to share. Team organisers see appropriate aggregate participation—not private individual health detail.

AI with clear boundaries

BestBot helps people understand and use the product. Deterministic engines retain control of calculations and safety rules, and AI output is not silently treated as medical fact.

Provenance and accountability

Important data should retain its source, verification context and audit trail so the system can explain where information came from.
