Training hub · strength, running and hybrid

One training system for the gym, road and real life

BestBody keeps strength sessions, outdoor activity and recovery in one weekly picture. Start with the outcome you care about, then organise gym, home and running work so the different parts support each other.

  • Strength and outdoor activity together
  • Plans shaped around time and equipment
  • UK early access · £6/month or £50/year
The direct answer

Plan the week as one programme, not competing calendars

A connected training week begins with the goal, current ability, available days, equipment and recovery capacity. BestBody then helps organise suitable sessions and records what was completed. GPS activity history, sets, repetitions and loads remain useful in their own right while also giving the next week better context.

What BestBody actually does

What to consider for training hub.

01

Choose the main outcome

A week built for a first 5K differs from one built around strength or mixed-event fitness. Name the primary outcome, keep secondary work in support, and avoid asking every session to improve everything at once.

  • One primary training outcome
  • Current ability and recent history
  • A realistic weekly frequency
02

Fit strength around running

Hard runs and demanding lower-body strength sessions both create fatigue. Place them deliberately, keep easier sessions genuinely easier and leave room to recover rather than filling every open day.

  • Strength, running and recovery spacing
  • Gym, home and bodyweight alternatives
  • Shorter sessions when the week changes
03

Record the work that matters

For strength, that can mean exercise, sets, repetitions and load. For outdoor activity, it can mean route, distance, moving time, pace or speed. Comparable history is more useful than a perfect-looking streak.

  • Workout and activity history
  • GPS estimates with signal context
  • Progress viewed across several weeks
